OBJECTIFIED

Since I am an artist who believes in evolution and process, prior semi-human figure studies from 90s inspired me to work on body parts. My practice spreads through series questioning the enigma of identity and its forms of human bodies. Under the veil I missed body parts. It is essential to my life and allows me to discover things on human beings, about myself and to meet people and present their physical lines through my surface. It is by pursuing the flow of my thoughts and attempts to let it express itself that I continue my quest on the understanding of human being through juxtaposing body parts. I am passionate by everything that passes by, therefore that manifests life and human and their body part, especially female body which is often treated as commodity and therefore ‘objectified’.
